Basketball Recap: St. Teresa's Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

St. Teresa's Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians, posting a 55-22 win. The Stars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Teresa's Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jazlyn Rhodes, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and four steals. Rhodes has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Nora Bond also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Rhodes wasn't the only one working in the assist department: St. Teresa's Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
