Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They enjoyed a cozy 67-48 victory over the Jacobs Golden Eagles on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Central was led to victory by Audrey Lafleur and Julia Scheuer. Lafleur went 8 of 13 on her way to 21 points along with six assists and six steals, while Scheuer went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points and five rebounds. That's the most assists Lafleur has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ainsley Wilson, who posted 11 points.

Central's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15. As for Jacobs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 45-33 loss against Crystal Lake Central on the 24th. As for Jacobs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-35 victory against McHenry on the 24th.
