The Hawkins Hawks won the last time they faced the Neuwirth Leadership Academy Boxers, and things went their way on Monday too. Hawkins managed a 44-38 win over Neuwirth Leadership Academy.
Hawkins' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Boston, who scored 11 points. De'Meiko Crawford was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Hawkins has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Hawkins will be playing in front of their home fans against Harbor Teacher at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Harbor Teacher is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
