Winnetonka has been away from home for three games now, but on Tuesday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Smithville Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Last Thursday, everything went Winnetonka's way against Paseo Academy of Performing Arts as Winnetonka made off with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Smithville waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

While Smithville might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Excelsior Springs scored at least 16 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-16.

Smithville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Calli Boydston, who had seven digs and four aces, and Avery Hedgecorth, who had six digs. That's the most aces Boydston has posted since back in October of 2023.

Smithville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.
