Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Pinnacle took on Water Canyon on Friday. The Pinnacle Panthers took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Water Canyon Wildcats. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dynonte Blackmore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Water Canyon, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Blackmore continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Cox, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Pinnacle now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Water Canyon, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Pinnacle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-38 defeat against Escalante on the 7th. As for Water Canyon, they will challenge Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Water Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
