Basketball Recap: Ogden Tigers vs. Union Cougars

After flying high against Ben Lomond last Thursday, Ogden came back down to earth. The Ogden Tigers fell to the Union Cougars 34-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-30 back in January.

Union's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lydia Hoschouer, who posted nine points. Stella Price was another key player, putting up four points and five boards.

Ogden has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Union, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.

Ogden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-23 defeat against Grantsville on the 6th. As for Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-38 loss against South Summit on the 6th.
