Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Indian Valley, Sandy Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 45-44 photo finish over the Claymont Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sandy Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Claymont, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandy Valley will take on Hiland in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hiland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sandy Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Claymont and Ridgewood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
