Basketball Game Preview: Clallam Bay Bruins vs. Crescent Loggers

Clallam Bay hasn't had much luck against Crescent recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Clallam Bay Bruins will take on the Crescent Loggers at 7:15 p.m.

Clallam Bay is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were beaten by Neah Bay 73-37. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Red Devils are ranked 84th).

Meanwhile, Crescent earned a 35-27 victory over Chief Kitsap Academy on Wednesday. The 35-point effort marked the Loggers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Clallam Bay's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Crescent, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Clallam Bay came up short against Crescent in their previous meeting last Wednesday, falling 53-47. Can Clallam Bay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
