Softball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Campbell County's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Fighting Irish recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Campbell County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Knoxville Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Campbell County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Cumberland Gap on the 7th. As for Knoxville Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Concord Christian on the 5th.
