Basketball Recap: Canterbury Comes Up Short

Canterbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks.

Canterbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Cincinnati Country Day, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Canterbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-47 defeat against Venice on the 2nd. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
