Basketball Preview: Lander Valley Tigers vs. Mountain View Buffalos
Lander Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They and the Mountain View Buffalos will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Lander Valley faced the Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lander Valley walked away with a 46-33 win over the Bulldogs.
In what's become a running theme this season, Mountain View gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 47-27 margin over Hot Springs County. The victory was nothing new for Mountain View as they're now sitting on three straight.
Lander Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
Lander Valley ended up a good deal behind the Buffalos in their previous matchup on Tuesday, losing 59-43. Can Lander Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
