Volleyball Game Preview: Sherrard Tigers vs. Orion Chargers + How To Watch

The Sherrard Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Orion Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sherrard will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Sherrard was able to grind out a solid win over Rockridge, taking the game 2-0.

While Sherrard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Orion sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Princeton on Saturday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Orion had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Sherrard's victory bumped their record up to 20-2-1. As for Orion, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Sherrard came out on top in a nail-biter against Orion in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
