Soccer Game Preview: Daniel Boone vs. Providence Academy

Daniel Boone is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against West Ridge on Tuesday. The Trailblazers fell just short of Wolves by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Providence Academy kept a clean sheet against Concord Christian on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. Providence Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Cage Merkel and Luke Severson scored all three of Providence Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Providence Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Daniel Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
