Volleyball Recap: Covenant Christian School Takes a Loss

Covenant Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hearts Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

While Covenant Christian School ultimately came up short, they really made Hearts Academy work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Covenant Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hearts Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Coming up, Covenant Christian School will look to defend their home court on the 18th against Lyndon Academy at 5:30 p.m. As for Hearts Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Harvester Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
