Soccer Recap: Wakefield Country Day Comes Up Short

Wakefield Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Quantico Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Quantico this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in March.

Wakefield Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Quantico, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Wakefield Country Day will head out on the road to face off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield Country Day will be up against Randolph-Macon Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.22 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Quantico, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Wakefield School at 4:00 p.m.
