Softball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.77 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 14-5 to the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Highlanders have suffered since April 29, 2024.

Reese Temme made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Jaquay, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Thomas Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Baldwin will welcome Connellsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
