Football Recap: Southwood Starts off Right with Win over Arcadia

Southwood took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They slipped by the Arcadia Hornets 16-15. This was payback for the Cowboys, who suffered a 14-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwood will head out to take on North Caddo at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Arcadia, they will venture away from home to square off against Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
