Servite posted their closest victory since December 28, 2024 on Saturday. They slipped by the Loyola Cubs 61-60. The win was nothing new for the Friars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Servite's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hugh Hannan, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 14 points. What's more, Hannan posted four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Jake Schutt was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Servite's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Loyola, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Servite is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Marina at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loyola, they will square off against Palisades at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
