Recap: Robinson Knights vs. Newsome Wolves
On Wednesday, the Robinson Knights's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 54-42 victory over Newsome. For Robinson, this counts as revenge for the 44-42 defeat Newsome walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2019.
Robinson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Russell led the charge by scoring 13 points. Russell set a new season high mark in steals with two. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mickens, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Newsome, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Robinson will head out on the road to face off against Leto at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Leto will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Newsome will be home for the holidays to greet Durant at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Durant is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
