It was a good run, but Aurora unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the McAuley Catholic Warriors by a score of 3-2. Aurora were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as McAuley Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for McAuley Catholic, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Aurora and McAuley Catholic will both be playing Cassville the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Houn Dawgs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
