Preview: Lincoln Mustangs vs. Lowell Cardinals
Lincoln is 8-2 against Lowell since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Lincoln Mustangs are on the road again and plays the Lowell Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th. Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 421 points over their last six games.
Lincoln put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 66-39 victory over Mission. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lincoln had established a 25 point advantage.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Lowell's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington.
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Lowell, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
Lincoln beat Lowell 53-40 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
