Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Lompoc's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Templeton. The contest marked the Braves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Valley Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Lompoc, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
