Football Recap: Gulf Breeze Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gulf Breeze extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They were beaten by the Navarre Raiders 46-6. If the Dolphins were looking for revenge after losing 48-20 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Navarre's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Navarre's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roman Marshall, who threw for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 62 yards on only six carries. Those 62 rushing yards gave Marshall a new career-high. Xylon Subido was another key back, rushing for 68 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Gulf Breeze wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 54-14 loss against Mosley on the 23rd. As for Navarre, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-21 defeat against Pace on the 24th.
