Football Recap: Gulf Breeze Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gulf Breeze extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They were outmatched by the Navarre Raiders and fell 46-6. If the Dolphins were looking for revenge after losing 48-20 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Navarre's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Navarre to victory, but perhaps none more so than Roman Marshall, who threw for 56 yards and a pair of TDs on only five passes, and also rushed for 41 yards. Those 41 rushing yards gave Marshall a new career-high. Xylon Subido was another key rusher, rushing for 68 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Gulf Breeze will venture away from home to face off against Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mosley will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Gulf Breeze surely won't give up without a fight. As for Navarre, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them.
