Soccer Recap: Cypress Springs' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cypress Woods, Cypress Springs was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Waller Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Cypress Springs' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for Waller, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Cypress Springs will welcome Cypress Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cypress Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Waller, they will head out to square off against Cypress Park at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Waller is facing Cypress Park at the right time seeing as Cypress Park is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
