Sandpoint was handed an eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake City Timberwolves, sneaking past 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sandpoint's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Parker Reichart, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Sandpoint's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lake City, they moved to 4-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
