Salisbury School had won four straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 14-3 to make it five. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders. The win continues a trend for the Crimson Knights in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won nine in a row.

Nikhil Parikh tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Sean Connolly was excellent, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jordan Rittenberg, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Frederick Gunn, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Salisbury School: they've now lost nine in a row.

On Frederick Gunn's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Chiappa, who went 2-for-3 with one run. That run was Chiappa's first of the season.

Salisbury School will have a chance to go back-to-back against Frederick Gunn: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
