Soccer Recap: Hickory Ridge Beats Myers Park for Their Fourth Straight Win

Hickory Ridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Myers Park Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. That's two games straight that Hickory Ridge have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Hannah Workman, who's now up to ten this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hickory Ridge, bringing their record up to 23-1-1. As for Myers Park, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-8-2.

Coming up, Hickory Ridge will face off against Ardrey Kell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ardrey Kell will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Hickory Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. Myers Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
