Basketball Recap: Central York Makes It 20 in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central York had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 73-64 win over the William Penn Bearcats. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won eight in a row.

William Penn's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nasir Barnes, who posted 20 points. Barnes' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Tyson Smith was another key player, putting up 15 points.
