Softball Recap: Inderkum Has No Trouble Against Rio Americano

The Inderkum Tigers made easy work of the Rio Americano Raiders on Wednesday and carried off an 11-1 win. Considering the Tigers have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ambrosia Estacio was incredible, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jenna King, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Inderkum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Inderkum back to even at 7-7. As for Rio Americano, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Inderkum will take on rival Vista del Lago at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rio Americano is set to face off against their familiar foe Christian Brothers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
