Softball Recap: Providence Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

Providence Cristo Rey couldn't beat Park Tudor on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Wolves came up short against the Panthers, falling 20-4. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Providence Cristo Rey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mireya Mejia, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Providence Cristo Rey now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Park Tudor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Providence Cristo Rey has already played their next matchup, a 24-11 win against Indianapolis Washington on the 30th. As for Park Tudor, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Greenwood Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
