Softball Recap: Kennebunk Rams vs. South Portland Red Riots
Kennebunk was the 5-2 winner over South Portland when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Kennebunk Rams fell 7-2 to the South Portland Red Riots on Monday.
For South Portland's part, Baylie Littlefield spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. Littlefield has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Ella Nickerson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
