Soccer Recap: International Takes a Loss

International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fisher Gators. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

International's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Fisher, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. International will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Northshore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fisher, they will take on Riverside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fisher's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
