There's no place like home for Cypress Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cypress Lakes Spartans on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory back in September.

Cypress Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-17.

Rayne Peavy paced Cypress Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Peavy got some help from Alyssa Suarez and her 20 assists. Amerie Bullock controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cypress Springs' win bumped their record up to 13-28. As for Cypress Lakes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-33 record this season.
