The Ardrey Kell Knights will challenge the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ardrey Kell sitting on ten straight wins and Hickory Ridge on four.

Ardrey Kell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Hough a 2-0 shutout. Two seems to be a good number for Ardrey Kell as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge faced Myers Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Ragin' Bulls narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 1-0. That's two games straight that Hickory Ridge have won by just one goal.

Ardrey Kell's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Hickory Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1-1.

Everything went Ardrey Kell's way against Hickory Ridge when the teams last played back in May of 2022, as Ardrey Kell made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
