It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lexington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jackson South Side Hawks, sneaking past 8-7. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five games in a row.

Holly Bartholomew and Lane Huskey did most of the damage at the plate: Bartholomew scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-5, while Huskey scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lexington pushed their record up to 19-8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
