Volleyball Game Preview: Maimonides M-Cats vs. Cathedral Panthers

The Maimonides M-Cats are taking a road trip to square off against the Cathedral Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maimonides will be strutting in after a victory while Cathedral will be coming in after a defeat.

Maimonides barely beat South Shore Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The M-Cats blew past South Shore Christian Academy 3-0 two weeks ago. The win made it back-to-back victories for the M-Cats.

Meanwhile, Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Calvary Chapel Academy.

Cathedral's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Maimonides, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Maimonides was able to grind out a solid win over Cathedral when the teams last played on September 8th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the M-Cats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
