Soccer Recap: Martin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Martin and Lake Highlands squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Martin had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Martin couldn't push the score so high this time.

Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-2. As for Lake Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-5 record this season.

Martin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Highlands, they will take on Plano West on Monday. Plano West will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lake Highlands surely won't give up without a fight.
