The Verdugo Hills Dons will head out to take on the San Fernando Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Verdugo Hills' hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Verdugo Hills came into this matchup off a tough 11-run loss last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of San Fernando by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Dons have suffered against the Tigers since February 18, 2020.

Verdugo Hills got a good showing from Milo Medeiros, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Medeiros has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 11 consecutive appearances.
