Football Recap: National Trail Takes a Loss

National Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Ansonia Tigers, falling 54-19. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Tigers are ranked 190th).

National Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ansonia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. National Trail will face off against rival Mississinawa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ansonia is set to square off against their familiar foe Tri-County North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
