Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tecumseh). They were the clear victor by an 80-54 margin over the Pinckney Pirates on Friday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Pirates are ranked 472nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tecumseh pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Pinckney, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tecumseh has already played their next match (against Dexter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pinckney will be playing at home against Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
