Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Central). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Batesville Bulldogs 45-0. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 89th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Karson Dorsey, Chase Mccracken, and Noah Long picked up one apiece.

The win made it two in a row for East Central and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Batesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

East Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 66-6 win against South Dearborn on the 26th. As for Batesville, they have also already played their next game, a 48-6 loss against Lawrenceburg on the 26th.
