Soccer Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dansville on Thursday, Wayland-Cohocton came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders on Saturday, falling 4-1. Wayland-Cohocton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Caledonia-Mumford apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Wayland-Cohocton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Caledonia-Mumford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will square off against Livonia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Livonia's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will head out to challenge Dansville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
