Volleyball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Comes Up Short

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost against Ringgold back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Marlee Johnson and Ajla Rizvic, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Gabby Deforest and her four assists. Montana Noblitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Ringgold, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Model on the 18th. As for Ringgold, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Union County on the 16th.
