Volleyball Recap: Fredericktown Black Cats vs. Farmington Knights
Fredericktown lost against Farmington back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fredericktown Black Cats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Farmington Knights. The Black Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 21-25, 25-11.
Farmington can attribute much of their success to Emma Anderson, who had seven aces and five digs. The dominant performance gave Anderson a new career-high in aces.
Fredericktown's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-3. As for Farmington, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fredericktown will face off against Meadow Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to challenge Ste. Genevieve at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
