Chilhowie had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chilhowie's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Marion, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Chilhowie will welcome Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Marion, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Abingdon on the 22nd.
