Basketball Game Preview: Pocatello Thunder vs. Skyline Grizzlies

Pocatello hasn't had much luck against Skyline recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Thunder are taking a road trip to take on the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Pocatello can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They lost 67-47 to Bonneville.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Skyline and Filer, and Filer kept the tradition alive. The Grizzlies took a 77-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Everything came up roses for Pocatello against Skyline when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as the team secured an 87-36 victory. Will the Thunder repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
