On Friday Stanton take on Essex at 7:00 PM. Essex will need to watch out since Stanton have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Stanton didn't have too much trouble with East Mills last Friday as they won 40-20.

Meanwhile, Essex have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They steamrollered Clarinda Academy 68-26. Essex were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Stanton to 4-1 and Essex to 1-4. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
