Volleyball Recap: King Academy Takes a Loss

King Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Cambridge Academy Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-10.

King Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cambridge Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. King Academy will square off against rival Wardlaw Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cambridge Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Newberry Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
