Marshall has gone 10-0 against Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Marshall Barristers are taking a road trip to challenge the Lincoln Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Marshall's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Marshall fell victim to Palisades and their airtight defense last Saturday. They fell just short of the Dolphins by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Barristers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Dolphins are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln's game back in December of 2024 was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Santee by a score of 2-1.

Lincoln's goal came courtesy of Joseph Waters, who's now up to four this season.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Marshall took their victory against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 7-3. In that contest, Marshall amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
