            Baseball Recap: Perry Central Commodores vs. Paoli Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Perry Central got themselves on the board against Paoli on Monday, but Paoli never followed suit. They skirted past the Rams  2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

 Dylan Mullis looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 At the plate, Perry Central's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Caleb Gehlhausen, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run and one  RBI.
Perry Central's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-9. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Paoli, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perry Central is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Springs Valley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paoli will  take on  rival Orleans  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
